Have you ever imagined what it would be like if access to education depended on the availability of menstrual products? Unfortunately, this is often the reality for women in Rwanda, a beautiful country in East Africa.

Create Positive Impact supported Käthy Känzig in delivering women’s hygiene products directly to the Sangira School in Nyamasheke on Lake Kivu in Rwanda in March 2024.

Käthy Känzig described her stay as intense, saying, “We can cover over 24,300 menstrual periods with these products. The big challenge now is to support women in using them and to educate them further.”
